Austin is a freelance writer and speaker with a particular focus on black womanhood and faith. She is author of the book "I'm Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness". Her writing can be found in Sojourners Magazine, Relevant Magazine, Mutuality Magazine, and other places around the web. Passionate about racial justice and reconciliation, Austin travels the country preaching and teaching about the ways this work intersects with Christian faith.
